What’s the difference between rubber foaming and EVA foaming?

1. The two have different definitions.
Rubber foaming: As the name suggests, this foaming method uses pure natural rubber as the primary material, supplemented by other auxiliary ingredients and a specific foaming agent. After undergoing a certain manufacturing process, the desired product is obtained.
EVA: This material is produced by the copolymerization of ethylene (E) and vinyl acetate (VA). Its specific molecular formula is (C2H4)x·(C4H6O2)y. At room temperature, it exists as a solid, but when heated to high temperatures, it transforms into a liquid with a certain viscosity.
2. Different advantages
Rubber foaming: low cost, simple operation, and requires little labor.
EVA foam: environmentally friendly, non-toxic, and waterproof. It also boasts excellent properties such as earthquake resistance, shock absorption, thermal insulation, and corrosion resistance.
3. Different uses
Rubber foaming: This product can be used to manufacture relatively soft rubber articles such as shoe insoles, non-slip mats, and shoulder pads.
EVA: It has a wide range of applications and is used in many fields, including medical devices, the electronics industry, architectural decoration, luggage, shoes, and more.
